Image and design have been addressed by the "Planning Board/Architectural Preservation Review Board" to focus on the conservation, preservation and development of properties in the Village of Victor. It became evident through the Downtown Market Study of the need to preserve and protect the historical and architectural character of the Business District. The Architectural Preservation Review Board was formed to review all applications for new construction, renovation or demolition to determine their impact on whether it would enhance or detract on the Village's historic character. Property owners are requested to obtain a Certificate of Appropriateness when changes or new construction are planned.
